About
Hello, I’m Mia Dias!
I’m the home cook behind MealPrepFood.com and I build recipes for people who want the fridge to feel like a cheat code on busy days.
Meal prep didn’t start for me as a trendy thing. It started as a survival thing.
A regular week at my house looks like this: someone needs dinner now, someone else suddenly hates the food they loved last week (parent life, just sayin’…), and my cat is convinced the kitchen counter is his personal command center. I used to cook in the moment every day and it wore me out fast. I was spending money on last-minute takeout, stressing about groceries, and doing dishes like it was my full-time job.
Then I started prepping a few basics ahead of time. Not a perfect Sunday reset with 20 matching containers. Just real-life meal prep: a sauce, a protein, a sheet pan of veggies, a grab-and-go breakfast.
And honestly? It changed everything!
Why MealPrepFood.com Exists
MealPrepFood.com is for busy people who want food that’s:
- easy to prep ahead
- actually tastes good after a couple days in the fridge
- practical for real schedules (work, kids, life)
- made from normal grocery store ingredients
I’m not here to make you cook harder. I’m here to help you cook smarter, so future-you opens the fridge and feels RELIEVED.

More About Me

I’m Mia, I’m 28, and I’m originally from Portugal. Food has always been how I show love, especially at home. I’m a wife, a mom, and a proud cat owner who supervises loudly and acts like he pays rent! I’m happiest when I’m cooking something simple that makes the whole week feel lighter, like a big pot of soup, a tray of roasted veggies, or breakfast burritos lined up in the freezer and pretending my future self will not eat two of them before Monday.
I’m not super active on social media. It might sound strange for a food site… but most of my time goes into testing recipes and keeping this website updated! That said, you can still find me on Facebook here.
I’m most active right here on Meal Prep Food because recipe testing and meal prep writing takes up a big chunk of my week (and my kitchen). If you want the quickest way to keep up with new recipes and meal prep ideas, follow along on Pinterest, where I save new posts, seasonal roundups, and easy make-ahead inspiration regularly.
Thanks for being here and cooking with me.
With love,
Mia
